ONE GOAL:                 TO SEE PEOPLE TRANSFORMED BY JESUS

The Orphans.  The Community.  The Church.  The Region.

DREAMS BEING FULFILLED

Samson & Beatrice Ananda started their ministry including opening their doors to orphans over 40 years ago in Western Kenya.  They started their church under a tree and later moved into a tent before settling into a church building. God placed many dreams within Samson's heart... including evangelism, discipleship, church growth, love/ nurture/ education/ care of orphans in need.  Many in his village laughed at him saying how are you going to do all of these big things?  You have no money.  You are a nobody.  Samson passed away in 2020 but his dreams are still alive!  His family is in awe of all God is doing.  Samson's God placed dreams are coming to pass!

Nothing is too big for our God

GOD WANTS TO WORK IN YOU & THROUGH YOU

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

MIKE AND KARI PRUITT

I am thankful for God's deep love, direction, & constant pursuit of us.  I feel more alive in my 50's than ever!  God is good!

I went on my first mission trip in high school and then felt the call into the ministry in college but did not pursue it.  I received a degree in Finance and entered the corporate world.  I had a successful career but never felt I was in the place I was supposed to be.

I love seeing lives changed through the transforming power of God!  This can happen wherever you are... at your current job... at your current location!  There is nothing better!  Redeemed Global Ministries was created for this purpose... to see lives changed through missions... the lives of those we serve and the lives of those serving.   -Mike Pruitt  Founder Redeemed Global Ministries

If someone would have told me when I was a teenager that I would be doing mission work in several countries, I would never have believed it.  I have always loved to travel and I have always loved helping people, so it makes sense, yet it still amazes me.

I am the youngest of seven children and grew up in Michigan.  I had a great childhood, we lived in a small community where we knew most people.  Every summer we would take family road trips.  My Dad has always been a fan of taking the backroads or the State Highways (you can’t see much from the Interstates, he would say), he believes that is the real way to see America and how people really live. That is where my love of travel comes from and my love of understanding how other cultures live.  There is so much to see and learn in the world.

Our first trip to Kenya was January of 2023.  The people, the culture, so warm and welcoming.  I am thankful that I was able to take another trip in January of 2024.  The relationship that we formed with the Ananda family and ALL of the kids is a beautiful one.  We miss them when we aren’t there and have a great time when we are there!

Our hope is to one day share a trip to Kenya with you!  -Kari Pruitt  Co-Founder Redeemed Global Ministries

BEATRICE ANANDA
"Mama Beatrice"

Samson and Beatrice started their ministry work in 1980.She came to Christ in 1976 while still living with her parents. When she married Samson, he was not born again or attending church but Beatrice was persistent when it came to talking to him about God and the importance of their family being built on God's foundation.

In 1979, Samson accepted Christ and started going to church. In 1980, Samson had a dream about having church services in the village. Beatrice had the same dream and they agreed to ask their parents' permission to start having fellowship at their homestead.

Beatrice and late Samson started having family church services under a tree every Sunday.  Villagers started hearing Sunday worship coming from the homestead and soon began joining.  Beatrice and Samson took a full mandate of taking care of and mentoring the spiritual lives of the people who came and fellowshipped with them on Sundays at their home under the tree.

In 1984, Beatrice and Samson had a move in their hearts and a voice from the Lord that they should start moving around the village praying with people and calling them to Jesus. At that time, they had not yet been blessed with a child. When this seed was planted in their hearts, they didn't hesitate. They would wake up every Friday and Saturday to walk around the village ministering.

One day, as Samson and Beatrice were walking, encouraging people, and praying, they came across an abandoned child. The child was 5 years old. His name was Abednego. What were they to do?  They had never raised a child.  Samson felt the urge of the Holy Spirit to take the boy to their homestead. It is at this point they began their life of raising kids. After having one adopted child they got their firstborn son Josephat in 1986.

With Samson and Beatrice’s open and loving hearts, God continued to place needy children in their path. By 1990, Beatrice and Samson had 4 adopted and 2 biological sons. Between 1990 and 1995, God placed another 3 children with them.  Homeless by that time, Samson started working as a welder and Beatrice as a trader in the market.  They worked hard to raise money to care for their 9 children. Times were difficult, but they kept their faith in God. The children grew up and their family continued to grow.

By the time Simon was born, Samson and Beatrice had 29 children. Samson and Beatrice received help from his parents, friends, and the community to raise and educate their children.

Samson passed in 2020.  His dreams and legacy continue.  Their church has been in existence 40+ years. To date, Mama Beatrice and Samson have raised over 65 children.

SIMON ANANDA

When I was born, I heard my parents say I was different. I have known Christ since my childhood. I spent a lot of time in church. At that time, church was held within our mud home. At that time, I just knew people were going to church to sing to God and pray. It wasn't until I was older that I understood what it means to be born again.

I have always been dedicated to serving God in church and began preaching in the church at the age of 13 after receiving Christ.I wanted to know when and where my father and mother were planning to go and minister, until one day, I remember my dad telling me, "Wait, God is preparing you, your time is coming, one day you will be doing all these things". I didn't know what he meant. I felt offended, and all that I could do was cry, but that didn't stop me from worshiping God in school and at home. I have always encouraged others to be God fearing.

In December 2005, my grandfather died.  He was a caring man and helped provide for us. Before he died, he told me early one morning, "My grandson, you are very different, please keep encouraging your brothers and sisters here to be God fearing.  When you struggle to support the children. Always remember, God will come through, never stop adopting children who are needy and orphaned. Makesure discipline is your highest priority". After having said that, two hours later he went to be with the Lord.  I pondered, why me? That moment caused me to be even better to God and more respectful to the children God had entrusted to us because I believed my grandfather had blessed me.

In 2013, the same thing happened when my grandmother was ailing. She told me, "No one knows about tomorrow. Please keep encouraging your brothers and sisters to be God fearing, and never stop adopting kids". Then, one week later, she passed on.

I know that my grandparents, my parents, and most importantly God, have entrusted me with the wonderful responsibility of raising His children, as well as, being a God-fearing example to my family and community.

Blessings.

WHAT GOD HAS DONE

Promise Home Kenya

I

ORIGINAL OVERVIEW OF PROPERTY

Originally there were 4 mud homes that did not have enough beds for all the children.  Outhouses were on the property with a shallow well that had muddy water.  Mama Beatrice's mud home was being eaten by termites and parts were washing away.

CURRENT PROPERTY OVERVIEW

Mama Beatrice's original mud home was torn down and a new children's home has been built.  The new home has a girls bunk room and boys bunk room each with their own bathroom with showers, sinks and toilets.  A deep water well was drilled.  The water has been tested and is the cleanest the water testing facility has seen.

PROMISE HOME CAR

Having a vehicle has been life changing.  Previously, the bus had to be utilized, a TukTuk, or a motorbike taxi.  Praying for a Promise Home Van in the future to better ease taking children to and from school.

SCHOOL MINISTRY

A large ministry has opened up within the Kenyan public schools.  Several hundred high school students surrendered their life to Christ within one school of 750 students.  This is being seen within each school we visit.   Kenyan teenagers are hungry for the Word of God and are in need of bibles.  Aprox 1,000 bibles have been donated to Kenyan schools.  Discipleship programs are continuing within visited schools.   May Jesus always be glorified through this ministry.
