WHAT GOD HAS DONE
Kenya Children's Home and Ministry
ORIGINAL OVERVIEW OF PROPERTY
Originally there were 4 mud homes that did not have enough beds for all the children. Â Outhouses were on the property with a shallow well that had muddy water. Â Mama Beatrice's mud home was being eaten by termites and parts were washing away.

CURRENT CHILDRENS HOME
Mama Beatrice's original mud home was torn down and a new children's home has been built. Â The new home has a girls bunk room and boys bunk room each with their own bathroom with showers, sinks and toilets. Â A deep water well was drilled. Â The water has been tested and is the cleanest the water testing facility has seen.

COOKING HAD BEEN DONE ON A FIRE
For 30+ years, cooking had always been done this way.

NEW INDIVIDUAL HOMES
The dream is to build 4 individual, smaller children's homes: 2 boys and 2 girls. This will allow for the older children to be separated from the younger children. The main home could then be used as mission team housing. The first smaller home has been built in the background.

PROMISE HOME CHURCH
The 400 capacity Promise Home Church is on property and serving the local village. Additional church's are being planted through this church.

BIBLE MINISTRY
2,000+ Bibles have been distributed through Promise Home Church. Many have never owned a bible. Bibles are also being used for community evangelism. 1,100+ people have surrendered their life to Jesus. Praying for a continued awakening in the area and region.

HEALTH
Fall 2022 two children passed away from illnesses at the children's home. Since this time, no children have passed away or been near death. Sickness has greatly decreased due to improved health. Thank you Jesus for your provision: clean water, improved nutrition, and medical care.

SECURITY
New entrance gate with cement block wall constructed around entire property.

JACKSON WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SICKLE CELL ANEMIA
Medical treatment has been provided to help Jackson with medical issues. Praying for his completed healing.

Update (Feb 2025): Jackson is feeling MUCH better. His pain is gone and his appetite has returned! Thank you Jesus!

PROMISE HOME CAR
Having a vehicle has been life changing. Â Previously, the bus had to be utilized, a TukTuk, or a motorbike taxi. Â Praying for a Promise Home Van in the future to better ease taking children to and from school.

EDUCATION
Every school-aged Promise Home Child is now attending school. Previously, not every child was able to go to school due to the expense.

SCHOOL MINISTRY
A large ministry has opened up within the Kenyan public schools. Several hundred high school students surrendered their life to Christ within one school of 750 students. This is being seen within each school we visit. Kenyan teenagers are hungry for the Word of God and are in need of bibles. Aprox 1,000 bibles have been donated to Kenyan schools. Discipleship programs are continuing within visited schools. May Jesus always be glorified through this ministry.
